Josh Says: If you're not overpaying, is it even brunch? This is one of Kristine's favorite stomping grounds and I have to say, the food is VERY good. I will be judging this meal on taste alone with no thought given to the money exiting my bank account (Financial Planning Tip: Don't do this).
The highlight of the meal was it's freshness. You could tell that everything was freshly made in house and the flavors were all the better for it. My burrito was delicious. It pulled of what most would deem an impossible task - my chorizo burrito tasted... healthy!?
The cherry on top was the churro cruffin. It's 2024 and the world is becoming more and more accepting with each passing day. Why can't a churro, a muffin, and a croissant be together? The bakers at Junction managed to capture the best parts of these three foods. I was particularly a fan of the caramel cinnamon creme patisserie. It was flavorful and rich without being overly sweet.
Of Interest: This bakery doesn't close after lunch. Nope. They serve dinner... and wine! The All American, a chuck brisket smash burger, is a future contender for this blog.
